  1.   Here are some general hints for the game:
  2.   - While playing Wizards Squares, I find that the ball usually lands
  3.     on Red or Blue.
  4.   - If you have low hit points, watch out for Slasher Boars.   Also,
  5.     steer clear of swamps and mountains, as they contain the toughest
  6.     of monsters (Hurlers, Ice Urchins, Spikers,etc.).   Grub Snufflers
  7.     are the best monster to meet because they have a much greater pro-
  8.     fit ratio. (hit points against gold carried)
  9.   - The game is finished in the realm of sorcerers, in the Dungeon of
  10.     Despair.   You must have about 10,000 hit points and many spells
  11.     to finish it.   An absolute neccessity is the "Scroll of Scalna",
  12.     which can be found in the other dungeon in the realm.   The Scroll
  13.     is a magical map, and it automatically maps your path.
  14.   - Watch out in the dungeons, and constantly check ahead of you with
  15.     the "Xamine" command at the bottom of the list of commands, as bear
  16.     traps or spikes whip up and destroy your amour, or do up to 4000
  17.     hit points damage.
  18.   - Some weapons are better than others for killing certain monsters.
  19.     Here is a table indicating what weapon is best against some of the
  20.     different monsters.
  21.                         Tanglers  -  Dagger
  22.                         Wave Slappers  -  Rapier
  23.                         Spincers  -  Rapier
  24.                         Mutant Carps  -  Cudgel
  25.                         Slasher Boars  -  Spear
  26.                         Ramdarts  -  Bow and Arrow
  27.                         Giant Cockroach  -  Fauchard
  28.                         Spiker  -  Staff
  29.   - Make sure that you have plenty of food before descending into any
  30.     dungeons or tombs, as you may get lost and run out of food.   This
  31.     will cause you to starve to death
  32.   - Some magic items can help you in your quest - If you Use the wand
  33.     of power, you gain 200 hit points, and if you Use the moonstone
  34.     amulet, you gain 100 food.
  35.   Here is a part solution.  If I ever get round to it, I may even update
  36.   to the full solution someday!

  44.    Seacrest...............Buy hatchet - weaponry shop
  45.                           Sell dagger - weaponry shop
  46.                           Buy hit points
  47.                           Gamble - get as much gold as possible
  48.    Octapoint..............Buy ring mail - at armour shop
  49.                           Sell rawhide - at armour shop
  50.                           Buy rope and hooks - at travel shop
  51.                           Buy as many spells as possible - spell shop
  52.    Outside Lyton..........Fight to get gold from monsters
  53.    Lyton..................Gamble - get as much gold as possible
  54.                           Buy hit points
  55.    Octapoint..............Buy as many spells as possible - spell shop
  56.                           (you should have at least 30 magic missiles
  57.                           and 30 fireballs)
  58.    Rivercrest Cathedral...Loot chest (not the one next to the priest)
  59.                           Kill the first two guards to attack you
  60.                           Go into tomb
  61.                           Get moonstone amulet
  62.                           Get brass key from Morle
  63.                           Exit tomb
  64.    Octapoint..............Buy spells - as many as possible
  65.    Rivercrest Cathedral...Outside - fight monsters to get gold
  66.                           OPTIONAL - Gamble at Lyton to get more gold
  67.                           Buy bread of life - Rivercrest cathedral
  68.    Redstone Castle........Raid Redstone - steal all treasure, kill all
  69.                                           guards
  70.                           (to raid Redstone you must have at least 150
  71.                           food, the moonstone amulet, and total hit
  72.                           points [hit points + bread of life] of about
  73.                           600)
  74.                           (After raiding Restone, your items should be
  75.                           as follows:   Gold Key
  76.                                         Iron Key
  77.                                         Brass Key
  78.                                         Copper Key
  79.                                         Emerald Key
  80.                                         Unicorn Horn
  81.                                         Book of Magic

  88.                           Go to emerald door - use emerald key to get
  89.                                                past
  90.                           Get wand of power
  91.                           Exit tomb
  92.    Redstone Castle........Go hall of visions
  93.                           Speak - GO UP LEVEL
  94.                           Get Magical Orb
  95.    Seacrest...............Buy staff - weaponry shop
  96.                           Sell hatchet - weaponry shop
  97.    Octapoint..............Buy bar mail - armour shop
  98.                           Sell ring mail - armour shop
  99.                           Buy sonic whine spells - spell shop - as many
  100.                                                    as you can afford
  101.                           Buy food
  102.    Rivercrest Cathedral...Go to Morle the Magician in the tomb
  103.                           Speak to him and accept his offer
  104.    YOU WILL THEN BE TELEPORTED TO THE REALM OF SORCERERS!!!
